API reference
A public, documented developer API is not available yet. This page states exactly where things stand rather than publishing endpoints you cannot call.
Current status
In development — not yet public
OmniInbox AI has internal API infrastructure that powers the product, and it already handles secure inbound webhooks from providers such as Gmail and WhatsApp. What does not exist yet is a stable, versioned, publicly documented API with developer credentials. We will not publish endpoint documentation before that exists.
What you can integrate with today
- Provider webhooks: inbound messages from connected channels are received and normalised automatically — no integration work needed on your side.
- Channel connectors: Gmail and WhatsApp Business connect through their own authorisation flows from the Channels area.
- Scheduled processing: background synchronisation and jobs run automatically so data stays current without manual calls.
For setup instructions covering these, see the documentation and the integrations page.
What the public API is planned to cover
Planned scope, not a commitment to dates.
Conversations
Read conversations and messages, and post replies through a connected channel.
Customers
Read unified customer profiles and their timeline of interactions.
Business knowledge
Create and update products, services, and documents used to ground AI answers.
Webhooks
Subscribe to events such as a new inbound message or a conversation being assigned.
Shape the API
If you are planning an integration, tell us which resources and events you need and how you intend to authenticate. Early requests genuinely change what we build first.
